The Tigre Delta is one of Buenos Aires' most spectacular natural settings. One of the largest deltas in the world, it exists thanks to 90 million tons of sediment which have flowed off the Paraná River. Formerly a retreat for the wealthy, as well as a hideout for intellectuals and artists during Argentina's dictatorship, today Tigre is a favorite weekend getaway for locals and tourists.
During this tour I will show you around the city. After this you can take a boat ride on a catamaran around the delta. (Included in price) The boat ride will show you around the islands of the delta, and the Rio del Plata.
